USS Midway

After watching the movie "Midway" on AMC, I just had to post a pic of the USS Midway, CV-41, that was named after the battle of Midway. I spent two full years on that old bucket from April 1977 to April 79. A lot of memories both good and not so good. But I definitely learned a lot and went to a lot of places in the Pacific and Indian Oceans. I have also attached a pic of A-6E's being loaded up on the flight deck of the Midway. I worked on the Avionics systems of that ugly bird. But boy, could it drop some bombs!
