I am reading Jaycee Dugard's second book "Freedom A book of Firsts."
In case that name sounds familiar or if you have no idea who it is, she was abducted on her way to school at the age of 11 and was held captive until the age of 29. She had 2 daughters by her captor.
My phone died last night I read this while on the toilet.

It's a little dark in places, but she's not graphic about a lot of the stuff. To me, it's uplifting that she survived the experience and has recovered enough to talk openly about it.
She was taken from South Lake Tahoe, about 3 hours from here. It was really big news at the time of her abduction. I still remembered when she was located and that too was big news. That's probably the source of my interest her books.
I'm going to see Nicholas Sparks in October! You guys probably don't know him, he does romancey-type novels. You probably have heard of some of his more popular novels that have been turned into movies: The Notebook, A Walk to Remember, Message in a Bottle. His stories are good, except someone usually dies in the end.
I'm really excited about it. He's from North Carolina, so I wasn't expecting him to do his book tour in California. But it's the only west coast stop he's making.
I met Nicholas Sparks last Thursday night!

Just finished Cisco ICND 100-101, now reading Cisco ICND 200-105. Kind of want to gouge my eyes out....
In my spare time I'm reading Song of Ice and Fire... Somewhere in book 4.
