Lol! 3711 floppies, wow! I can just imagine getting 2/3 of the way thru and then getting a floppy read error because the heads got dirty.

Too funny! I recently built a computer for a customer who requested a diskette drive because she had a lot of old photos she wanted to recover. Have you tried to buy a new motherboard with a floppy controller recently? Went with an external drive, and (no big surprise) all of the diskettes were too degraded to read.

Anyway, when you finish that installation next year, I'd love to read a report.
