I think I'm going to try this tonight. I talk about it all the time so I might as well actually do it. And if it doesn't work out then fine. I'll be out $25. No prob.

From what I read (I might be wrong though) it appears you're getting the files in Apple format - not MP3 - so transcoding will be needed, with the associated loss of quality. That assuming you can actually get your hands on the cloud files...

I love the only comment on that page:

Well I guess this technically isnt an iPhone alternative because I can't use it you jackass!!!
Yet nowhere on that page is the word "alternative" used, except by the commenter!

    I believe now it's a 30 day freebie, then it's 10 a month.

I am confused. So, does this fix the volume on my mp3's or just give me cloud access to music I own.

If I have internet access I would likely be on Pandora.

All the music I've ever purchased from Apple is MP3, DRM unlocked. Totally standard, can be used on anything.

That's cool. I hadn't heard about this previously. All this talk about iTunes match got me wondering if there was any alternatives. So I googled and this came up. Although it doesn't seem like it's been very popular. Seems like a decent service though.

Will it fix the volume on your mp3's? Depends. Will it give you cloud access to music you own? Yes. Pandora? It's good but so many commercials.
