With the risk of sounding [insert term here], i will tell you this:
    1. You don't need any support group. Support must come from inside you. It will not happen before you decide that starting *NOW* (not Monday, not tomorrow) you will take control of yourself and get back on track. The biggest step is admitting you have a problem, and you've done that. Congrats, 90% is solved, now get your ass to the other 10%.
    2. Looks like you're out of work. Find yourself agents - not the obscure ones who only want a resume in their database, but those that will want to meet you face to face before even starting to work with you. Having been looking only 1 year ago, I can tell you that only those are reliable, the rest will just put you on a mailing list and present offers that are mostly completely unrelated to your field. However, the good ones will only present you positions they consider are a good match for you and will not tarnish their reputation by randomly sending you to interviews where you shouldn't go. They have access to unlisted positions, many companies rely on them to only send pre-screened, fit candidates.
