    NBA Post season

Anyone watching the NBA post season? Got some real good matchups. Mavs could upset the Spurs, Atl still has a lot of life to upset the Pacers, both 1st/8th place upsets if they happen. Even Memphis putting a hurting on OKC...that's a 2nd/7th upset if it happens.

In fact, all the matchups except the heat/Bobcats have action in both directions. Heat are the only team that can sweep first round, they play tonight 7pm...

Of course, everyone’s making a big deal about the Clippers owner being a racist...as if a galacticly rich old white dude that's racist is something new.

I think i'll skip the heat game tonight, that Atl/Pacers game should be tit-hot tonight at 8PM!

Yeah, the Mavs are playing excellent ball against the Spurs...just don't know if it'll hold up over a 7 game series.

And Memphis always puts a hurting on OKC and the Spurs too. I think they are the team to watch in the West.

As for the East, meh. How many sub-500 teams made the playoffs?

I think you meant sub 600...of which there were 6 in the east that still made the playoffs...West only had one sub 600 in the top 8...

I've caught some and it's been entertaining. I feel bad for Houston who is playing well but losing really close games, are down 3-1 and likely going out in the first round.

From your link the 8th seeded Atlanta Hawks finished with a .463 winning percentage in the Weak East. Meanwhile in the Best West, the Phoenix Suns finished with a .585 winning percentage and didn't make the playoffs. Their record was better than four of the playoff contenders in the East and tied with TWO MORE!. If they were in the East, they would have the 5th seed and very possibly the 3rd.

I'm only trying to point out that the East definitely has the weaker regular season record. But the playoffs can change all of that in the wink of an eye.

It's nothing new to point out, about the west regular season being predominately better then the east...Going back as many years, I don't honestly know of a season where the east had a better overall year. If the Suns don’t like it, they can always relocate east of the old miss…

BTW, what and upset from Atl to the Indiana Pacers. I watched most of the game, that second quarter was what did it. Pacers down by 30 at one point...hard to recover after a deficit like that. Sad thing was the fans were booing not Atl, but their home team pacers.
