I believe that's the most lopsided win in World Cup history. When I told Elder Child the news, she was cutting the yard. She stopped, called me a liar, and then ran for her laptop. Germany scored 4 goals in six minutes during the first half. Woot!

Wow, that was outrageous. The worst thing was that Germany took it easy in the 2nd half and took off the top goalscorer to stay fresh for the Final. It could easily have been 10. However, no team ever plays like that twice in a row and I expect the final to be very tight.

I am still in shock, I figured once the Germans scored first that it'd descend into a defend the lead style match, next thing I knew they were 5 up. I hear that 7UP is no longer being sold in Brazil.... I think as well my wish of Wales being able to play like Brazil has been misunderstood.... I'm hoping for a good match tonight and agree with Gazzak that the final will be tight, probably a tad boring. Be interesting to see what Brazil do for the Third Place Play Off match.
