    Not just aesthetically pleasing visually, but you could enjoy the clean fresh scent of the zip ties melting.

    Oh, I don't know...it is also tied to the drive shaft so it will wrap up in a nice coil.

    Interesting point, would the zip ties melt before the driver put the car in gear? Guess it depends on driving habits. Think there is any chance of getting Federal grant money to study this?

    My guess is that as soon as the car moved, the driveshaft would spin, and the gas line would wrap around the shaft. then the engine would stall. No fire, no other damage.

    As a Panhandle Texan, in Winter you have to fire up your vehicle and let it run a few minutes with the heater on before your exposed flesh doesn't stick to the steering wheel or other control surfaces.

    In Summer, you need to run the A/C a few minutes so your flesh doesn't stick to the steering wheel and the gear selector. So, I'm going with burning Nylon before a twisted fuel line. Still, your mileage may vary.
