Got confirmation today. Probably it will never make a difference, but it's there like another notch on the rifle... cool...

Yes. I'm betting we all got our scores today. Despite being out of the game since 2009, I passed with a 835. Of course, it's a pretty simple exam so I guess it does not matter too much that I have been out of the game for a while. It would be interesting to see the exact questions I missed. I remember that a few were written poorly. I guess that is to be expected with a beta.
857.....
It's another cert....I'll take it.
Cool. I got 835 also.
Well, I only got a 791 but it's saying 650 is passing on a scale from 100-900. You can also go back to Pearson Vue's website, log in and get your scorereport.pdf
It tells you which areas you answered incorrectly.
PASSING SCORE: 650
CANDIDATE SCORE: 889
PASS/FAIL Pass
The CompTIA IT Fundamentals Certification Beta Exam has a scaled score
between 100 and 900.
You incorrectly answered one or more questions in the following objective areas:
l Given a scenario, implement basic support concepts.
l Given a scenario, set up and configure a basic SOHO router (wired/wireless).
l Given a scenario, use web-browsing best practices.
l Identify common programs, applications, and their purpose.
l Perform appropriate steps to set up a basic workstation.
IIRC it was 150-ish questions, so I got 2 wrong unless they had different weights - then why does it list so many areas for incorrect?
They probably are assuming a single question is covering a variety of areas.
I was at one place and the guy doing the interview called comp tia certs the clown of certs or some BS. I didn't get the job, was super glad, guy was an ass. IMO, the A+ was a really good test and tested valid stuff. Loved it and it was a very sensible test you couldn't fake your way through (in 2001 when I took it). Just found my lifetime card two days ago.
I agree completely. I think the A+ is an excellent certification to prove entry level skills.
