    Free Pop3 Mail Server

Looking for a free pop3 solution for testing our printers out with. Needs to be a long term thing, so do any of you have any recommendations for a free pop3 mail app? I've done all the Google stuff and come up with one, but recommendations/experience are always better.

I have used MailEnable in the past. Worked fine.
Windows Server has native support, why not use it?

Supposed to be a pain to use, not tried it myself yet though.

Is there even such a thing? I had no idea! I'd be curious to see what you end up using for this. And it has to be POP mail? You can't use Gmail or Yahoo or something?

We've got a test network not connected to the outside so needs to be an app on a Windows platform, (or the built in windows one if that works out)

So tried out the Windows native pop3 and smtp server this morning. Works a treat, very easy to setup and configure.

I used a small linux distribution that 74AD turned me on to years ago when teaching a computer class but I can't think of the name offhand. Sounds like you already got a solution, but if not let me know and I'll do a little more digging.

    SME server.

I still use it occasionally for little projects. It's actually fairly robust and hella easy to manage
