Are you trying to re-name the server after installation? That will generate the error message in question. Likewise, if I remember correctly, this happens if you try to change the domain name after installation.You have to re-install from scratch to rename it. That's all I can think of off hand, but I've only done a single Essentials 2012 installation. And yeah, I goofed the first time around and had to reinstall.
