    Any David Letterman Fans Here?

This week is his last hurrah; final show on Wednesday night.

Eddie Vedder was on last night and played "Better Man" with Paul Shaffer and the CBS Orchestra. He sounded great even tho he broke one of his guitar strings. A fitting tribute!

Bob Dylan is supposed to be on tonight's show.

I'll be watching tonight (well tomorrow on the DVR or youtubes anyhow), don't want to pass up Dylan on Letteman, that's for sure!

I quit watching Dave years ago.

I won't watch anyone that has a strong political leaning one way or the other.

If I want his opinion of politics I will read a blog, otherwise I just want to be entertained.

I haven't heard him spout any politics in a long time. I know that he despised GWB and loves BHO tho. Obama and Michelle were both on his show in the last couple of weeks.

Even still, he's a TV icon.

When I was younger I used to stay up to watch him, but yeah he makes no secret which way he leans, same as Leno did.

Plus he has not been funny since he lost at replacing Carson

25 years ago you probably couldn't have found a bigger Letterman fan than me. Since then either he has become incredibly boring or I've grown up. Not sure which, but he seems to be doing the exact same show as he did way back then. Don't really have any interest in seeing any of the final shows.

Well, I gotta say I was underwhelmed with Dylan last night. Couldn't understand hardly anything he was singing but that's fairly normal for him. He just looked like he wanted to be someplace else. Plus, he kept fidgeting like he had to pee real bad. Pretty disappointing overall.

I don't have "TV", but I'll check it out later. I used to be a fan when I was a teen and in college. I loved his dropping things off a building and irreverent stuff he did. In college, I lived with a guy from NYC named Jason (I lived with 3 Jason's, omfg, confusing) who had this major hard on for Letterman and wanted to work for him and was going to TV production. Well, he was working there last time I checked in about 8 years back. This is probably killing him to see the show go off the air.

Anyway, favorite moments are howard stern and dave ripping NBC for being narrow minded and short sighted, the watermelons off the building, anything outside the studio, that little fat old dude, the weird guy that was in cabin boy, just all the old folks and the way they gelled. I never cared for the interviews, except when drew barrymore hopped on his desk and popped her tits out. WHOO BOY! Good TV.
