    Long live the Amiga!

WOW! Thirty years and they are still using the same system. Or at least more or less. They have had to replace some parts via ebay.

Cool but replacing that costs millions is a steaming pile of shit.
Internet controlled thermostats are in the $200 range - multiply by 19 and writing the code to control them should be less than a week for any decent programmer to deliver a polished program.
So under $10k to produce something far superior.

Wow, I will used to use one of those in the school library when it was considered "state of the art".

They were impressive in their day. I had a 3000 for a little while until I moved on to something else.

Their sports games were 5-7 years ahead of everything else back in the day. Not just the graphics, but the ability to play entire seasons and have it keep your stats. I loved my amiga and remember bringing it to college in the mid 90's and the games were still ahead of any of the consoles.
