    Better antenna or signal booster?

The place I'm moving to has almost zero reception for my phone in the summer, and its OK in winter. I have a cricket phone and have been told they don't sell or give or rent myocells or femtocells. I'm wondering if there is any other signal boosting tech I could use that's cheap? Any ideas? I'd prefer not to switch carriers.

    I'm on
Verizon and live very close to Lake Erie. I had to buy (149.00) network extender that plugs into the router to get 4g reception. without it, sometimes I was roaming. I don't know of any other way to boost signal.

I'm using Bluegrass, and I have a signal booster in my home and office, and works great for me.

Signal booster wouldn't be bad but you also definitely need better antenna.
