I caught most of the first half. I was kinda shocked at how the steelers defense played after they looked like the keystone cops last week against the patriots.

Haven't kept up much with the 49ers except I know they lost a bunch of people during the off-season.

The good ol' Cowboys are doing good but they lost their QB, Tony Romo, to a broken collarbone; supposed to be out 8 weeks or so. What a p|sser!

Weeden will hold it down for the Cowboys, I think. We couldn't do anything with him. But that was the Browns, and not him.

Jeez, I went to U.T. in 1970 when the Longhorns under Darrell Royal were kicking everybody's ass and Tom Landry and the Dallas Cowboys were doing the same. Since then, I've lost interest in football. But The Boss says it better.

yeah I'm inclined to agree with this. I don't think weeden is actually all that bad, but the browns are such a mess in general....

I am STILL so PO'ed that the first winning coach in DECADES was fired because the owner is such a little whiny a s s ed b i t c h. I think there was such a drain because the owner is trying to save money. But if you have a winning team, won't you make more money? It boggles the mind.

As I see it, most teams are owned by billionaires or groups of billionaires and it seems to be less a question of profits than ego massages for controlling the team and players.
