BYW, I originally wasn't planning on going to any of my reunions because I wasn't really friends with anyone and haven't kept in touch. But I decided to go to my 10th reunion anyway and met my future wife there. We were acquaintances during junior and senior high schools but not really friends. She was National Honor Society, religious and I was a long-haired hippie type way back then. But we immediately hit it off at the reunion. When we went back to our 20th reunion, we were married and had two kids. A lot of people were shocked that we actually got married. One guy even asked me, "Didn't she used to be smart?" I told him, "She still is!" Pretty funny stuff. Anyway, we have always gone back and had a great time each time. This time around, I will be alone again but still looking for a good time. Wish me luck.
My 20th HS reunion was this year (or will be this year, not sure if it happened yet). I haven't went to any yet, and have no desire to either.

I was thinking about my last HS reunion. I met up with one of my best friends. She got married right out of high school and her husband joined the military. They were still together, living in Oregon. We ended up going on two vacations together, one to Cabo San Lucas and the other to Jamaica. A couple of years ago he died, so he won't be there this time. :-( Lots of things change in 10 years.
I'm still advocating you all go to your reunions. I didn't have a lot of friends in high school, and hardly any at all that were close. Yeah, there's plenty of people that I have no desire to see again, but there's plenty that I would like to see.
When you're left out of the club, you know it. When you're in the club, you don't see what the problem is.
