Yeah, I'm waiting for the price of land to drop, still hasn't yet. I really hope we just get back to normal though, hate to see everyone suffering.
I just traded in my truck for a conversion Van. It was a 2005 Ford F-150 FX4 with only 59000 miles. They only gave me $6500. You could have had it for a steal!
No that was not a steal. With a 5.4L V8 you just about needed to change the spark plugs. A $700 + Job if nothing goes wrong. If things go truly bad with that job you can be into two new heads with an engine removal. Then we can talk about the cam phasers, Coil packs, Catalytic converters, Transmission wiring harness and last but not least broken timing chain guide. You got rid of it at the perfect time. These problems tend to start just after 60,000 miles.
Well, now I guess I know what the F in F-150 actually stands for.
Yes, Mr. Death... I'll play you a game! But not CHESS !!! BAH... FOOEY! My game is...
WIFFLEBALL!
2004 f 150. Only had 85000. miles. Bought it to tow my camper. At 85000 miles, blew out a spark plug. The mechanic heli coiled one in, and told me to get rid of it soon. Hooked up camper and towed it to permanent campsite. On the way home, blew another plug, and when trying to back into drive, had no reverse. Total cost 2800.00 to trade it in and get 5300.00. There are so many horror stories on forums. It should have been a recall. How they get away with it, I don't get.
Wow! I am pretty loyal to the bowtie but if I had those kinds of problems I would be looking at other makes. As it is, I have had extremely good luck with my trucks.
"But I got it because I'm an iSheep who needs to have all my stuff have an Apple logo on it."
$1.79 and rising.

2013 GMC 2500HD 4 WD. Hopefully, this one has no problems. Got it in December with 180000 miles.
