    Filed for Social Security

I filed for Social Security on Saturday. This song seems to fit the bill.

Surrendered to the inevitable did ya Joe? Diety, Sarah and I were talking about you over pancakes last Saturday. Hope all is well with you and Marsha. (You could have bought with all of your new rocking chair money!)

Simply put, tomorrow is my 64th birthday, whereupon I will be 64 years of age. If I wait six years, theoretically, I could get another 400 bucks a month. by then, I suspect the full retirement age will be something like 78. Pay me now!

Yeah, I filed at 62. I don't get squat, but if I put off filing until I was 66, it would take 14+ years to break even on the total benefits. Anyway, after taking a huge hit in the next to the last market collapse, I expect to work until I die anyway.
