    Here is an update:
Nov 20, 2015 massive "three way" heart attack, consisting of 98% blockage, ventricular fibrillation, and myocardial infarct resulting in 45% remaining viable heart tissue. Fast forward to Jan 29, 2017. Nuclear stress test reveals the two stents, and NO evidence of ischemia or infarct. In other words, heart is 100% healed. The doctors have no rational medical explanation. I attribute the following:

That's an interesting site and product. Maybe I'll try the product. My problem is that now I'm so cynical, I mistrust everything. I know that's a screwed up way of thinking, but that's just where my mind is these days. Still, thanks for the tip. I'll think about it.

My B&C has gotten hooked on the "People's Chemist" and the products he hawks. https://thepeopleschemist.com/

He swears by the products because he got his mother off meds for diabetes, high blood pressure and cholesterol. I give him credit, she really does look better and even though it's pretty obvious she's got dementia, she tries to have conversations and she's more active - she actually wants to go outside and walk around when a year or two ago this same time of year she couldn't be bothered. She's 94.
When you're left out of the club, you know it. When you're in the club, you don't see what the problem is.

I'm really skeptical of all these "alternative med" treatments and web sites. I'm also about as skeptical of the stuff my doctor wants to prescribe.

You might actually like this guy. His "newsletter" is quite colorful, if you catch my drift. Personally, if I were the one getting those newsletters, I would tell him if I wanted to hear all that crass language, I could go hang out in a bar. But the b&c laughs it off.

To be honest, I'm a skeptic as well. I don't think there's a magic bullet for anything. Sure, you can eat right and get exercise for all your adult life and still get cancer. I've reached an age where a lot of my old co-workers are dying off. I'm thinking that all the chemicals, solvents and adhesives prolific in the aircraft maintenance industry, combined with a total lack of information about what all these things will do to your organs, did them in. It was not uncommon to see guys washing a sealant off their bare hands with tric (triclorotriflouroethane, or something like that.) We later learned that most (if not all) the sealants, solvents and chemicals were teratogens, target organ chemicals and similarly very bad for you.

    Great!

Gazzak, how is your heart doing? It seems like you had a heart attack also.

I got the all clear earlier this year, like Tekboy I got lucky and my heart is fully recovered. I have to take tablets to keep my blood pressure regular, heartbeat lower, to thin the blood and to keep cholesterol levels lower. I get regular blood tests now which show good things. My lifestyle is changed now so that my intake is much healthier and my exercise regime is a minimum of 30 minutes cardio per day, (did 70 minutes coming in to work on the bike this morning, will do the same getting home too). Obviously the stent and tablets are there for life, but the long term outlook is a normal life.

My dad lived longer post pancratic cancer surgery than he would have lived had he gone the conventional method of treatments. Alternative medication may not be the cure all but I bet part of the solution is there.
