I finally watched this the other day. It felt extremely boring in some areas. It didn't get really good until the final 30 minutes.
I really like Rodriguez. He directs some movies that are almost as violent as anything Tarantino has done, then he turns around and directs Spykids. El Mariachi was good, but I think Desperado was better. I liked the action better, and I have to say that Salma Hayek looks really good nekkid. And I also really liked her character.
