What did you spend on Halloween candy this year?

I'm watching the news right now and they were talking about how much people spend on candy. How much did you spend? I bought two of these bags at Costco for $15 each. We had enough for the little monsters and I may have nabbed a few for me too.

According to the news, Americans as a whole spent $2.7 billion this year on Halloween candy.

None! I live in a gated 55+ community. Those old rascals can buy their OWN candy!
    And get off my lawn!

LOL, I can relate. Us old folks don't like being old to start with so it don't take much to p|ss up off!

I spent less than $20. Even tho I live in a crowded neighborhood, very few kids actually go out trick-or-treating any more. I gave away about 3/4 of it tonight and will munch on the rest myself.

Bought 2 bags at BJs, probably 25. Will be returning them as we ended up going out and got no visitors.

I gave the woman 20 bucks. I am not sure what she spent but I got no change. It was either 20 on candy, or 10 and she pocketed 10

$30, could have spent half that. This was the first Halloween in about 20 years that we handed out candy and didn't have to take a kid trick or treating!

Spent nothing. I just don't see many kids doing Trick or Treat any more. Elder Child is in the Navy, and I think she has more important stuff to worry about.Younger Child, when she isn't in class or doing homework spends most of her time on SnapChat.

My parents spent about $ 30 on candy. They distributed all the candy. I did not buy candy at all. I lived in the apartment in the fall and I did not know my neighbors and their children. Judging by the fact that no one knocked me to me - they also did not want to get acquainted.
