    You won't find any 120V heater drawing more than 15A in US. 15A@120V -> 1800W in theory. Add a 100ft extension cord and you'd be lucky to have 1500W available for the load.
    1500W won't be able to heat an uninsulated shed enough to melt the snow.

    Not very practical or safe to put a propane heater in a crammed enclosed space.

    you don't need to heat it to tropical conditions... remember snow provides insulation, heat would build up in the roof section pretty quickly. As soon as the snow right next to the roof goes above freezing point, the whole lot will avalanche.

    You're making the incorrect assumption that the roof is smooth like a mirror. In reality the screws will hold the snow in place. To get rid of the snow you have to rake it or wait until it melts.
