    DogTV

Don't let your dog get lonely. Leave DOGTV on and keep Fido happy and entertained with content specifically developed for dogs!

Content that is designed to relax your dog, reduce stress levels and keep him calm with soothing music, sounds and visuals.

I thought just for grins, I'd check it out. What little I saw, was videos from low level like a dog would see. Scenes such as people walking the busy city street sidewalk, seeing another dog on a leash. Switch scenes to a backyard swimming pool with kids jumping in the water and laughing and having a good time and other dogs in the yard running around and barking. Switch scenes to country view of a meadow with the morning mist and sounds of birds all around.

I would think this would also be good to help keep babies calm while still seeing neat stuff on TV. But it's not in HD so my dog wasn't impressed in the least.

    ...sigh...

No chance. There's enough TV watching at my house. No need to get the dog hooked.

You're right. I'd much rather have one dog that barks her head off at every passerby, and another idiot dog that escapes from the yard and has frequent up close and personal encounters with skunks and a recent episode with a porcupine. We did most of the quill removal, but Stupid Doggie still ended up with a $200 dollar visit to the vet. Maybe DogTV isn't such a bad idea.
Yes, Mr. Death... I'll play you a game! But not CHESS !!! BAH... FOOEY! My game is...

Poor detail vision and colorblind (at least vs humans).

It's an interesting read. Also, reading about new discoveries related to animal intelligence is also a blast. Turns out that humans may not be quite as special as we like to think.
