I am living fine with 100 watts on a Pioneer receiver these days. I had to sell my really good Technics speakers when I moved, but found some nice Yamaha speakers in a pawn shop when I got here. All in all, what with everything being in a dfifferent room 4500 miles away, I am happy with the sound. When the wife isn't home, I like to crank up the audio around here.
This is a great way to get to know your new neighbors too.
