I just bought the latest novel in Kevin Hearne's Iron Druid series; Staked. If you like Butcher, you will enjoy Hearne. The Iron Druid books may be even funnier than the early Dresden Files. Spoiler; the recent Dresden Files novels aren't so funny. Let me take a moment to rant. The Kindle edition of Staked is just a few bucks cheaper than the hard cover, and so I bought the hardback. When I'm done, I will donate it to my local library. I want to see authors make decent money from their work, but I think traditional publishing houses inflate the prices of ebooks, and I hope in time this will bite them in the ass. OK.
